Safe first steps

1. Check the water drain hose for any visible kinks or bends that may obstruct water flow.
2. Ensure that the drain hose is not clogged. Remove any debris or buildup that may be blocking the hose.
3. Check that the drain hose is installed at the correct height according to the manual specifications.
4. If the hose is clear and properly installed but the error persists, inspect the drain pump for any visible damage or blockages.
5. If the drain pump is visibly damaged or the fault persists after cleaning, arrange a service visit — do not run the appliance.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water pooling around the appliance or if the drain hose is leaking — risk of flooding.
