Safe first steps

1. Put the washer-dryer into standby mode by pressing the power button.
2. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet to ensure safety while inspecting the drain pump.
3. Locate the drain pump access panel, usually at the bottom front of the washer-dryer, and remove it.
4. Check for any obstructions in the drain pump and remove them carefully.
5. Reassemble the access panel, plug the appliance back in, and test the washer-dryer to see if the error code persists.

When to stop

• If the drain pump is still blocked after cleaning, or if you notice any unusual noises or leaks, stop and call a professional.
