E1 · Temperature sensor problem

Safe first steps

1. Unplug the fridge freezer from the power outlet to ensure safety before inspecting the temperature sensor.
2. Locate the temperature sensor, usually found near the evaporator or inside the fridge compartment, and check the connections for any loose or damaged wires.
3. If the connections are loose, securely reconnect them and ensure there are no visible damages to the sensor.
4. Plug the fridge freezer back in and monitor for the E1 error code. If it reappears, the temperature sensor may need replacement.

• Stop if you see any exposed wires or signs of burning near the sensor — risk of electric shock.
