Safe first steps

1. Check if the fridge freezer is in safe mode. If the display shows 'Cd', it is in defrost mode.
2. Inspect the door seals for any damage or gaps that could cause temperature issues. Clean them if necessary.
3. If the appliance is not in safe mode and the error persists, unplug the fridge freezer and wait for 10 minutes before plugging it back in.
4. If the error code E2 still appears after resetting, the temperature sensor is likely faulty. Arrange for a service visit to replace the sensor.

When to stop

• Stop if the fridge freezer is making unusual noises or if there is a significant temperature fluctuation — risk of component damage.
