Safe first steps

1. Ensure the water supply tap is fully open.
2. Check the external filter on the inlet hose for clogs and clean it if necessary.
3. Inspect the drain hose for kinks or blockages and straighten or clear them as needed.
4. If the error persists after checking the above, inspect the drain pump for visible damage.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the appliance — risk of flooding and electric shock.
