Safe first steps

1. Check if the washing machine door is fully closed. Push it firmly until you hear a click.
2. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet to ensure safety.
3. Plug the power cord back into the outlet and turn on the washing machine.
4. If the error E:02 reoccurs, check for any obstructions around the door latch that may prevent it from closing properly.
5. If the door is clear and the error persists, arrange a service visit — do not run the appliance.

When to stop

• Stop if the door does not close securely or if you hear unusual noises when attempting to close it — risk of mechanical injury.
