Safe first steps

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet to ensure safety before inspection.
2. Check the washing machine filter for any blockages. Remove and clean it if necessary.
3. Inspect the wall-mounted trap for any blockages that may be causing excess water in the drum.
4. If the filter and trap are clear but the error persists, check for leaks around the hoses and connections.
5. If you find any leaks or if the error continues after cleaning, do not run the appliance and arrange for a service visit.

• Stop if you see water leaking from the machine or around the connections — risk of electric shock.
