Safe first steps

1. Check the water supply temperature by running the tap for a few minutes. Ensure it is warm enough for washing.
2. Inspect the water inlet hose for kinks or blockages that may prevent warm water from entering the machine.
3. Clean the water inlet filter by removing it and rinsing it under running water to ensure proper flow.
4. Repeat the washing program to see if the error persists. If it does, check for any visible issues with the water supply.
5. If the error E1 continues after these checks, do not attempt to run the machine further and arrange for a service technician to inspect the appliance.

When to stop

• Stop if the water supply is consistently cold or if you notice any leaks around the machine — risk of component damage.
