E26 · Temperature sensor failure

Safe first steps

1. Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the power source.
2. Wait for at least 30 seconds before plugging the washing machine back in.
3. Turn on the washing machine and select a washing program to test if the error reoccurs.
4. If the error E26 appears again, check for any visible damage to the temperature sensor wiring.
5. If you find damage or the error persists, arrange a service visit — do not use the washing machine.

When to stop

• Stop if you see any smoke or smell burning — risk of fire.
