Safe first steps

1. Disconnect the washing machine from the power supply by unplugging it from the wall socket.
2. Wait for at least 5 minutes before reconnecting the power supply to allow the machine to reset.
3. Reconnect the washing machine to the power supply and check if the error code E36 reappears.
4. If the error persists, check the wiring connections at the back of the machine for any loose or damaged wires.
5. If you find any damaged wiring or the error continues, arrange for a service technician to inspect the machine.

When to stop

• Stop if you notice any burning smell or visible damage to the wiring — risk of electric shock.
