Safe first steps

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet to ensure safety before inspecting.
2. Check the electronic module for any visible signs of damage, such as burnt components or loose connections.
3. Reassemble any loose connections and plug the washing machine back in to see if the error persists.
4. If the error reoccurs after checking the connections, do not attempt further repairs and arrange for a service technician to inspect the electronic module.

When to stop

• Stop if you notice any burning smell or smoke coming from the electronic module — risk of fire.
