Safe first steps

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet to ensure safety before inspection.
2. Check all visible connections to the electronic module for any loose or damaged wires.
3. Reconnect any loose wires securely and ensure all connections are tight.
4. Plug the washing machine back in and attempt to reset the appliance by pressing the reset button.
5. If the error persists after resetting, check for any visible damage to the electronic module — if damaged, do not use the appliance and arrange for a service visit.

When to stop

• Stop if you see any burnt marks or smell burning near the electronic module — risk of fire.
