Safe first steps

1. Turn off the washing machine and unplug it from the power source.
2. Check for any foreign objects in the drum that may be causing the drying issue.
3. Rearrange the laundry in the drum to ensure it is evenly distributed.
4. Plug the machine back in and turn it on to see if the error persists.
5. If the error F18 still appears, check for any visible damage to the drying components before contacting a technician.
