Safe first steps

1. Ensure the washing machine door is securely closed and press the 'Start/Pause' button.
2. Check if the water supply valve is open and the indicator for water supply is not lit.
3. Disconnect the power supply to the washing machine for at least 5 minutes, then reconnect it.
4. If the error code F98 persists after reconnecting the power, do not attempt to operate the machine further and arrange for a service visit.

When to stop

• Stop if the washing machine emits unusual sounds or shows signs of burning — risk of fire.
