Safe first steps

1. Unplug the dryer from the power outlet to ensure safety before performing any checks.
2. Check the power cord for any visible damage or fraying. If damaged, do not use the dryer.
3. Inspect the lint filter and heat pump filter for blockages. Clean them if necessary, as clogs can affect communication.
4. Reconnect the dryer to the power outlet and attempt to restart the appliance. Observe if the error code persists.
5. If the error code E:02 still appears, it is recommended to arrange a service visit as there may be internal communication issues.

When to stop

• Stop if you notice any burning smell or smoke coming from the dryer — risk of fire.
