Safe first steps

1. Inspect the drain hose for any visible blockages or kinks.
2. Remove the drain hose from the machine and hold it above a container to check for water flow.
3. If water does not flow, remove the sealing plug from the drain hose to allow any trapped water to drain out.
4. After draining, clean the drain hose to remove any contaminants or dirt.
5. If the issue persists after cleaning, check for any internal blockages in the drain pump — do not run the appliance until resolved.
