E3 · Washing machine does not drain water

Safe first steps

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet.
2. Locate and remove the drain filter cover, usually found at the bottom front of the machine.
3. Clean the drain filter to remove any blockages or debris.
4. Reattach the drain filter cover securely and plug the washing machine back in.
5. If the error persists after cleaning the filter, check for any visible damage to the drain pump — if damaged, arrange a service visit.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the machine — risk of flooding.
