Safe first steps

1. Check that you are using an enzyme-based detergent suitable for the special washing program.
2. Ensure that the dishwasher is loaded correctly, with normally soiled pots and dishes placed in the appropriate racks.
3. Run the special washing program (P11) and monitor the cycle for any unusual noises or leaks.
4. If you notice any leaks or water pooling around the dishwasher, stop the cycle immediately and check the door seal and hoses for damage.
5. If the door seal or hoses are damaged, do not run the appliance until they are replaced — arrange for a service visit.
