Safe first steps

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet to ensure safety before starting any maintenance.
2. Check the drain hose for any kinks or blockages that may prevent water from draining properly.
3. Locate and clean the pump filter under the service door, rinsing it under running water to remove any debris.
4. Ensure the pump filter is securely reattached and that the sealing is clean and undamaged.
5. Plug the washing machine back in and run a short cycle to check if the error code E5 has cleared.
