Safe first steps

1. Check the drain hose connection for any kinks or blockages.
2. Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height as per the manual specifications.
3. Run a short cycle to test if the drainage issue is resolved.
4. If the issue persists, inspect the drain pump for any visible damage or blockages.
5. If the drain pump is damaged or the fault continues, arrange a service visit — do not use the appliance.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking near the motor or electrical connections — risk of electric shock.
