Safe first steps

1. Unplug the dishwasher from the power outlet to ensure safety.
2. Inspect the heating element for any visible damage or disconnection.
3. If the heating element is damaged or disconnected, replace it with a new one.
4. Plug the dishwasher back in and run a test cycle to check if the error persists.
5. If the error E1 still appears, arrange a service visit — do not use the appliance.

When to stop
