Safe first steps

1. Check the drainage hose for any visible kinks or bends that may be obstructing water flow.
2. Inspect the siphon connection to ensure it is properly attached and not leaking.
3. Remove the drainage hose and check for clogs by running water through it. Clean if necessary.
4. If the drainage hose is damaged or the error persists after cleaning, replace the hose before using the dishwasher again.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water pooling around the dishwasher or near electrical connections — risk of electric shock.
