Safe first steps

1. Turn off the dishwasher and unplug it from the power source.
2. Remove the coarse filter by turning it counterclockwise and take out the filter system.
3. Check for any foreign objects in the drain pump area and remove them carefully.
4. Clean the filter elements under running water and ensure no debris remains.
5. Reassemble the filter system and ensure it is securely in place before plugging the dishwasher back in.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the dishwasher — risk of flooding.
