Safe first steps

1. Turn off the dishwasher and unplug it from the power source.
2. Remove the bottom dish rack to access the drain pump area.
3. Check for any debris or blockages in the drain pump and remove them carefully.
4. Ensure that the drain pump cover is securely fastened before reassembling the dishwasher.
5. Plug the dishwasher back in and run a short cycle to test if the issue is resolved.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the bottom of the dishwasher — risk of flooding.
