Safe first steps

1. Turn off the dishwasher and unplug it from the power source.
2. Remove the lower spray arm by pulling it upwards and check for any blockages in the spray arm openings.
3. Check the drain pump area for any debris or blockages and clean it if necessary.
4. Ensure that the cover of the drain pump is securely fastened.
5. If the drain pump is visibly damaged or the error persists after cleaning, arrange a service visit — do not run the appliance.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking near the drain pump or electrical connections — risk of electric shock.
