Safe first steps

1. Open the washing machine door and redistribute the laundry evenly in the drum.
2. Close the door securely and select the spin cycle again.
3. If the error persists, check for any large items that may be causing the imbalance and remove them.
4. If the washing machine still does not spin after redistributing the load, check the drum for any obstructions.

When to stop

• Stop if the washing machine makes unusual noises or if the drum does not move — risk of mechanical injury.
