Safe first steps

1. Open the washing machine door and check the drum for any foreign objects or debris. Remove any items you find.
2. Run a short wash cycle without any laundry to see if the error code clears. Observe if water drains properly.
3. If the error persists, unplug the washing machine and locate the pump filter. Clean it thoroughly to remove any blockages.
4. After cleaning the pump filter, plug the washing machine back in and run another short wash cycle to check if the issue is resolved.
5. If the pump is still blocked or the error code remains, do not attempt further repairs. Arrange a service visit to inspect the pump.

When to stop

• Stop if you notice water leaking from the machine or if the pump makes unusual noises — risk of flooding or component damage.
