Safe first steps

1. Open the washing machine door and redistribute the laundry evenly in the drum.
2. Close the door securely and select the spin cycle again.
3. If the error persists, check for any large items that may be causing the imbalance and remove them.
4. If the washing machine still does not spin after redistributing the load, check the drum for any obstructions.
5. If the drum is clear and the error continues, arrange a service visit — do not run the appliance.

When to stop

• Stop if you hear unusual noises from the drum or if it does not rotate at all — risk of mechanical injury.
