Safe first steps

1. Turn the program selector to the 'Off' position and unplug the appliance from the power source.
2. Loosen the hose clamp and carefully remove the drainage hose. Be prepared for some residual water to spill out.
3. Inspect the drainage hose for any blockages or kinks. Clean it thoroughly to ensure unobstructed water flow.
4. Reattach the drainage hose and secure it with the hose clamp. Ensure it is properly connected to avoid leaks.
5. If the drainage hose is clear but the error persists, check the drainage pipe for blockages. If blocked, clear it. If the problem continues, arrange a service visit.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the drainage hose or connections — risk of flooding.
