Safe first steps

1. Remove the lower spray arm by unscrewing it or pulling it off, depending on the model.
2. Inspect the spray arm for any blockages or debris and clean it thoroughly with warm soapy water.
3. Remove the filters from the dishwasher and rinse them under warm running water to remove any dirt or food particles.
4. Reinstall the cleaned filters and spray arm back into the dishwasher securely.
5. If the error persists after cleaning, check for any visible damage to the spray arm or filters — if damaged, arrange a service visit.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the dishwasher — risk of flooding.
