Safe first steps

1. Remove the lower spray arm by pulling it upwards and turning it counterclockwise.
2. Check the filter for any food debris or limescale and clean it if necessary.
3. Reinstall the lower spray arm by pushing it down and turning it clockwise.
4. Run a short cycle to check if the dishwasher drains properly.
5. If the issue persists after cleaning, check for visible damage to the drain pump — if damaged, arrange a service visit.
