E5 · Pump filter may be clogged

Safe first steps

1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet.
2. Locate the pump filter, usually found at the front bottom of the machine.
3. Open the filter cover and place a shallow container underneath to catch any water.
4. Remove the pump filter and clean it thoroughly to remove any blockages.
5. Reinstall the pump filter and close the cover securely. Plug the machine back in and run a test cycle.

When to stop

• Stop if you see water leaking from the filter area — risk of flooding.
