E97 · Internal error communication failure

Safe first steps

1. Turn off the dryer and unplug it from the power source.
2. Wait for at least 5 minutes before plugging the dryer back in and turning it on.
3. Open the loading door and clean the metallic moisture sensor with a soft sponge and a little vinegar or dish soap.
4. Close the door and turn the dryer on to see if the error code E97 persists.
5. If the error code E97 still appears, check for any visible damage to the electronic components and arrange a service visit if necessary.

• Stop if you notice any burning smell or visible damage to the electronic components — risk of fire.
